Precision penetrameters conform rigidly to the various specifications and code requirements. Identification of size, type and material is positive. Lead numbers and letters are permanently bonded to the penetrameter. Material and code information is permanently etched on the face of each penetrameter. Penetrameter material is indicated by distinctive color code. Sharp, smooth edges, with accurate, perfectly spaced, cylindrical holes, give the technician every advantage in obtaining clear, well defined images on the film.
All penetrameters are accompanied with certification and is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
