Vermon can manufacture your industrial ultrasound array probes according to your own specifications.
Based on our proprietary piezocomposite material, we can develop single element, annular arrays, linear or curved arrays as well as 2D arrays.
Customized probes can have a center frequency from 0.5MHz up to 20MHz. These probes can be delivered with your required cable length (standard 3 meters) and connector configuration (Hypertronics, IPEX, etc).
Curved Array Probes:
Due to the nature of the piezocomposite made of up to 60% resin, its shape can be modified after it is manufactured. This makes curved arrays easier and quicker to build. Perfect for concave arrays dedicated to tube inspection or for any application where curved arrays (concave or convex) are needed. Connectors and cable length can be selected upon your requirements.
Matrix Array Probes:
Matrix array probes have multiple transducer elements arranged in a two dimensional matrix pattern. This enables the inspection of multiple points on a material surface at the same time and generates a two-dimensional image of the internal structure of the material. By inspecting volumes from restricted access points, these probes are capable of detecting defects that might have multiple orientations that are not predetermined.
