Film Interpretation of Welding Defects
This weld inspection training program introduces the student to the types of welding defects seen on radiographs. A selection of over 300 radiographs are included showing the location and cause of 25 of the most common discontinuities.
A practice quiz is included which allows the student to select the correct answer from four choices with a "hint" page showing the weld profile and location of the discontinuity.
The final chapter requires the student to select the correct welding related discontinuity from 25 choices. Over 100 radiographs not previously seen have been added to this chapter.

Radiographic Applications
The chapters covering calculations include step by step procedures used to obtain the correct answer with approximately 20 practice questions. Calculations include milliamperage change, distance change, density change, exposure time, material change, film change, geometric unsharpness and making an exposure chart.
Applications chapters include working with x-ray equipment, Iridium 192 and Cobalt 60, filling out a utilization inspection log, image quality indicator selection, film development, radiographing pipe, radiographic plate, multiple load techniques, measuring film density, and basic interpretation of film.

Magnetic Particle Testing I & II
This program allows the student to take a practice quiz at the end of each chapter with the opportunity to review questions. A random question quiz and general examination can be taken with a review of all missed questions.
Subjects include manufacturing process, basic theory, types of current, current requirements, demagnetization methods, support equipment, equipment, particle application, pre-cleaning, postcleaning, evaluation, interpretation, operation of contour probe, portable magnetic particle equipment, stationary equipment and multi-directional equipment. A specific examination is also included.
